[Gdal-dev] Impossible to find _gdal

I have only a file called _gdal.def.

What do you mean by configured and built successfully. I think that I 
missed this operation. How can I do that?

Jean,

Do you know if the Python support was configured, and built
successfully?   Do you have an _gdal.so in gdal/pymod?
Perhaps things failed in the install or the _gdal.so was installed
in the wrong place?
