[Gdal-dev] L1G Landsat data

Dear Developers,

I am trying to convert a Landsat ETM+ in LG1-Format to geotiff. gdalwarp
can read the files with its subdatasets, but looses the georeferencing.

I tryed with gdal-1.2.0b as I heared it should work, but I could not 
manage to make it workuing.

Also with dal-1.2.6, no luck...

During searching the archives I found mails from Feb. 2004 with the same
problem, but no answer was given.
Are there any further information on that, if importing L1G-Data is
readable with georeferencing?
