Folks,
I am curious why Martin thinks this too, but GDAL has
been used as part of the image processing chain at
Keyhole. They funded alot of my early work on files larger
than 4GB.
However, it isn't clear to me how significant GDAL is at
Keyhole/Google.
The (weak?) connection between google maps and GDAL has
been my best attempt yet to convince my son I do something
interesting in the basement all day. But even that seems to
have failed, as he just shrugged.
