[Gdal-dev] shifted objects in shapefiles

I checked with shpdump and dbfdump, both files have 1629 records.

The files have been edited using MapObjects, so there is continuous editing going on in these files.

Any chance that the shapefile's dbf has been edited by hand? Is it  
missing a header row? Anomalous row added by accident?
