[Gdal-dev] compiling gdal with ECW capabilities

hello Vladimir,
thanks for your post,

but my problem is that i cannot run ./configure --with-ecw=/usr/local

configure return :
checking for libNCSEcw.so or libecwj2... configure: error: not found 
in /usr/local/lib or /usr/local/bin.
and
the file libNCSEcw.so is in /usr/local/lib
i dont' know  why configure don't see it
