[Gdal-dev] classification writing support for img

Hi,
 
I checked the gdal 1.3.1 code for the new way of using the RAT. (I'm for
the moment using 1.2.6)
it seems that for the img (hfa) format, it is not possible to save a RAT
table.
is it really so , or I made a mistake reading the code ?
is this feature planned ?
