[Gdal-dev] building gdal on solaris

Hi Frank and Howard,

After much ado, I got gdal 1.3.2b1 built on solaris 2.8.  Thanks for your
help and everyone else who contributed suggestions.

It turns out I needed to build a fresh copy of xerces, since
the pre-built xerces didn't have the right symbols or something.

I needed xerces for gml support.

I will re-build with the final version of 1.3.2 when its ready.
