[Gdal-dev] RE: version 140 beta

Frank,

I downloaded the latest 140 beta and did a full rebuild on my solution
and then it linked fine.  I think I just needed to do a full rebuild on
my project.  Thanks for the response though.  All of the base
functionality in 140 seems to work ok so far.  I've opened up about 15
to 20 different types of images and also used ogr to view, modify,
create, delete, and reproject shape files and it all looks ok so far.
I'll keep testing it with my app.

Martin,

Yes, the 1.4.0beta1 should be pretty stable.  There is some
churn in the "next generation" bindings but I don't think that
affects you.
