[Gdal-dev] MODIS Equal Area Sinusoidal projection

Hi, and thanks to all who replied!
So, to sum it up: it is not possible to use GDAL as it is to subset and reproject MODIS Level4 files, I need to first convert the data using ons of the external teams provided by the MODIS team to achieve this. Is this correct?
