[Gdal-dev] MrSID support kills gdal_translate?

When I enable MrSID support in nmake.opt, the resulting gdal_translate 
seems non-functional. It simply returns with no output, no matter what 
the input is, including requesting the version with "--version". I don't 
see any errors in the output from nmake. Anyone have any idea on what 
could be wrong?
