SVG is an open standard, and now supported directly by the latest 
versions of Firefox, Opera, Konqeror, and Safari. IO don't know about 
I.E.  Maybe that's why Adobe as dropped it.

On the other hand, were Macromedia to drop Flash, you'd really be stuck 
-- so I'd not worry about it, that's the reason to stick with open 
standards.
