[Gdal-dev] ECW JPEG 2000 SDK v3.3: final source distribution released

I was all excited about this. But...

Are you sure the threading is improved, for Mac OS X at least? I
still get a trap error in compression. And I can't get a working
decompression either - all I get is invalid or corrupt file errors.
I've tried this on PPC, OS 10.4.7, GCC 4.0.1 (tried the beta on
Intel, but my MacBook is in the shop right now so I can't try the
final 3.3 release on Intel Mac OS X).

I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with how I build
it. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but I've heard that at
least a working reader is possible.

Any ideas? Maybe time to sign up on the forum and ask around...

[Marvin] You think you have problems? What are you supposed to do
if you ARE a maniacally depressed robot? No, don't try and answer,
I'm 50,000 times more intelligent than you and even I don't know the
answer...
