[Gdal-dev] Building with VC7.1

I downloaded clean 1.4.1.tar.gz and I've got the VC 7.1 from an official 
installer.

I issue the command nmake /f makefile.vc in Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 
command prompt and I get the error "windows.h": no such file. Which I 
think is somewhat ironic.

What gives? BTW, I'm only trying to get something that I can 
subsequentially use in linking against GDAL, i.e., gdal.lib or something 
like that.
