[Gdal-dev] Symbian OS Port

I'm interested in using some of the core GDAL functionality on Symbian OS
9+, but I haven't had much experience porting c++ projects.

Can anyone recommend some good resources on the subject, or a good starting
point (possibly the Windows CE port)?
And is there anyone else that might be interested in helping with such a
project? (I will only be able to spend a few nights a week on the project).

The initial functionality I'm interested in is mainly coordinate
transformations/warping of vector data.
