[gdal-dev] gdal2tiles not supporting colors ?

Hi,
 
Using FWTools2.0.2 'gdal2tiles' tool i created .png tiles and noticed that all of them are grey. The input datasets that I used
were colored (.tif, .gif). Is this mean that gdal2tiles support creating only greyed image tiles ?
