Hi John, I also had problems compiling 1.5 betas with my 64 bit openSuse. I haven't tried the 1.5.0 release yet. When I tried to use ./configure, it tried to link 32 bit libs. I was able to build with the --without-libtool option in the ./configure line. Steve Popovich
