[Gdal-dev] ssf file format

Does anyone have any information on Trimble's ssf file format?  I have
not seen anything in GDAL to handle it but Trimble's software is toooooo
expensive and I need to convert some GPS data to something usable by
GIS.  Also, does anyone now how to geo-correct  GPS data with COORS
data.  That would be another useful extension to acquiring real world
data for GIS.
