I would revoke this statement because I have just fixed a problem in
the csharp/makefile.vc
causing that the manifest has not been embedded to
gdal_gdalconst_wrap.dll. Without this fix using the gdalconst assembly
module causes an application error (for the VS2005 builds). In
addition some of the sample apps will not run.

Is it crucial?
