[Gdal-dev] Do we need to specifically set band's min, max on writting?

Joaquim,

It means that NaNs are not currently ignored by the min/max computation
code.  If you wish you could file that as a bug, though I'd claim putting
"special" values like NaN and Inf in floating point images is asking
for trouble.
