[Gdal-dev] RPC coefficients for NITF and GeoTiff

Hi list,
Are RPC coefficients the same for NITF and GeoTiff formats? i.e. Can I
use gdalinfo to capture the RPC coefficients and then create a rpc.txt
file to orthorectify Geotiff image?
My ortho program won't read NITF metadata so I am trying GTIFF route.

I have two sets of INOKOS images on the same location, GTIFF WGS84 and
NITF NAD83.  Their RPCs are very different.
I am not sure if that is due to different datum.
