[Gdal-dev] issues merging 7 bands of Landsat scene into 1 image

I forgot to add it applies to GDAL 1.4.0 and GDAL SVN 2007-01-14.

Is there a stable GDAL SVN trunk including only bugfixes and no new
features? I'm hesistant to using unstable GDAL version.
