With regard to rewriting that page, balancing detail which will confuse 
against more information: The 1 or 3 band info is actually in there 
twice right now, which may have contributed to Maciej's original 
confusion. How about simply removing the second instance under "Creation 
Options", since the band configuration is not actually a -co anyway?

Creation Options

JPEG files are created using the "JPEG" driver code. JPEG file creation 
is implemented by the batch (CreateCopy) method.
