[Gdal-dev] Does GDALGridCreate function exist in version 1.4.0?

The Doxygen pages show there being a GDALGridCreate function in gdal_alg.h
but on my version 1.4.0 installation I can't find any trace of it. Is it an
old function that's been rolled into something else? Too new? Other?

Looks very handy.
