Joaquim,

The name of that library HD421md.lib could be related to HDF4.

But HDF4 flags are commented on make.opt:

http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/browser/trunk/gdal/nmake.opt#L185

Is it possible that your make.opt has HDF4 flags uncommented by mistake?
