Hi folks,

Why can't I use the -i (invert) flag in gdal_rasterize?

 From the gdal_rasterize doc:

Usage: gdal_rasterize [-b band] [-i]
        [-burn value] | [-a attribute_name] | [-3d]
        [-l layername]* [-where expression] [-sql select_statement]
        <src_datasource> <dst_filename>

 From my newly compiled version:

$ gdal_rasterize --version
GDAL 1.4.2.0, released 2007/06/27

$ gdal_rasterize -b 1 -b 2 -b 3 -burn 0 -burn 0 -burn 0 -i  -l
Eijsden_sectie_a1 Eijsden_sectie_a1.shp a1.tif
Usage: gdal_rasterize [-b band]
        [-burn value] | [-a attribute_name] | [-3d]
        [-l layername]* [-where expression] [-sql select_statement]
        <src_datasource> <dst_filename

Without -i everything works OK.

Jan
