[gdal-dev] geoPDF to geotif conversion

geoPDF is a closed format - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeoPDF - but if
I am wrong please correct me as it is an interesting way to distribute
product.

 

That is not to say that you couldn't take the image out of a geopdf, I
am sure libraries such as iText, FOP (Java) could do this for you.

Hi,

One of our customers would like to have us convert geoPDF to geotif
format, and I have looked within all the 80+ formats that gdal can
convert to and I noticed that geoPDF was not listed.  
In the future is geoPDF going to be a format that gdal will be
supporting?
Does anyone know of any open source application that currently converts
geoPDF into geotiff?
