[gdal-dev] GDAL plugins and ArcGIS 9.2

Thanks Ivan, Gao and Frank for the suggestions.

I started out with ArcGIS 9.2 (no SP) building with gdal 1.3 on MSVS
2005. It finally worked once I upgraded to ArcGIS 9.2 SP4 and gdal 1.4
and dropped back to MSVS 2003.

Thanks again!

John

John,

If you search the gdal-dev archives you will find what Peng Gao (ESRI's)

has to say about that. He said that it is possible but unlikely to work
due to customization on their end. What I suggest is that as ESRI
business partner (EDN member or some other kind of arrangement) you
might be able to get the gdal_1.lib; their additional or modified .h(s)
and some epsg_*.inc(s) files and use VC71, MSVS 2003, to build a GDAL14
plugin.

Regards,

Ivan
