[gdal-dev] Urgent clarification needed.

We're having some difficulty opening a client's database file via the 
ordinary OGR reader, therefore I was reading the documentation found at. 
http://www.gdal.org/ogr/drv_odbc.html in reference to using the ODBC, 
the documentation states that this is potentially available in both 
unix/windows builds. However only available in unix by special 
compilation options. My question is, is this driver available in windows 
without the need for any special compiliation options or do I have to do 
something special to get it ?
