[Gdal-dev] How to use GDAL using MS VC++6

I was successfull in building the GDAL on windows .I could see the lib , bin
,include  etc folders in
my path  "C:\warmerda\bld"  .But when I try to use
samples(eg:-http://perrygeo.net/download/gdaldemtools_20060207.zip) provided
i get lots of linker errors(despite providing LIB,INCLUDE paths in my
project settings in Visaul studio 6/8). Can anyone explain how to utilize
GDAL libraries in MS Visual studio?
