[gdal-dev] UTM zone

Hi, 

I'm using ogr2ogr to convert from a geographic coordinate system to UTM.
I've been specifying the EPSG code to use.  Is there a way for ogr2ogr
to automatically calculate the proper UTM zone from the geographic
extent?
