[gdal-dev] gdalinfo on RSAT-1 ScanSAR Narrow (or Wide)

hi list,

Does GDAL tool identify RSAT-1 ScanSAR Narrow A from Narrow B?
When I run gdalinfo, it only extracts
"CEOS_LOGICAL_VOLUME_ID=RSAT-1-SAR-SCN"
and "get_dataset()GetMetadata()" doesn't tell either (whether it
consists of W1, W2 or W2, S5, S6).

I know someone has written C program to extract this info from its
metadata. Just wonder if I use existing gdal tool in Python.
