[gdal-dev] GDAL on 64 bit environments

Hi,
I want to use gdal on a 64 bit OS (XEON wiht Red Hat ES 5), but it seems
that fwtools is released just for 32 bit systems.
What's the right way to install GDAL on 64 bit OS?
