[gdal-dev] GDAL in 64bits Linux environment

Limei,

I believe some of the core developers use 64bit Linux as their daily work 
environment, so it is certainly not a fundamental problem. However, you must 
be more specific of the problem you have and include traces of the result of 
the compilation, dependencies installed etc etc
