[gdal-dev] 1.5.1 with MrSID DSDK 7?

Has anyone successfully compiled 1.5.1 against version 7.0.0.2167 of LizardTech's DSDK?  I compiled without incident using 6.0.7.1408, but 7 is giving me numerous linking errors out of the box.
I'm trying to make the changes necessary to handle the difference in APIs, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.
