[gdal-dev] E00 Translation tools - Hard to Find

I've just spent about an hour searching for an E00 translator that would 
run in Linux via a command line, but I didn't find anything. There's one 
that converts to AVE code, and there source code for one called "Little 
Shape Conversion" at http://sourceforge.net/projects/shapetools that's 
missing its libshp source code directory, and there's lots of broken links.

I've got a large collection off ASCII E00 files that I want to convert 
to MapInfo TAB.  Apparently ogr2ogr doesn't do this,but is there 
something in Linux land that does?  I can use  MUT that comes with 
MapInfo (which I'm doing since this is a rush job), but I'd like a unix 
solution too. Is there any such tool out there, or do I have to build my 
own?
