[gdal-dev] gdal 1.5.1 building apps compile error

Hello, gdalList!
Did build GDAL 1.5.1 libs fine.
Stuck building /apps nmake.exe /f makefile.vc:
NMAKE: fatal error U1073: don't know how to make ' ""'
Stop

Any idea what is wrong?
Did convert *nix to pc-format (got an issue with CRLF symbols in msvc
project): no luck
