[gdal-dev] Removed functions from public API (cpl_conv.h)

Andrey,

I think you removed two functions from cpl_conv.h (CPLStrtof()
and CPLStrtofDelim()) in:

   http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/changeset/14378

cpl_conv.h is considered part of the public API of GDAL and I see these
functions were in GDAL 1.5.  I'd prefer if they could be retained in
trunk even though it seems very unlikely that anyone is using them.

I think preserving backward compatability in the API is something we need
to take as seriously as possible.
