[Gdal-dev] gdaltransform v.1.6.0 - result differs from documentation

Answered my own question - duplicated the result on a different OS.
Installed Ubuntu's packaged  gdal-1.5.1 + proj-4.6.0 + geos-3.0.0 + ogdi-3.2.0 on a Virtual Machine running Ubuntu 8.10 - the Intrepid Ibex.
Exactly the same result:
@VMUBUNTU:~$  gdaltransform -s_srs EPSG:28992 -t_srs EPSG:31370
177502 311865
244422.238366377 165970.24545029 0

Seems that the documentation example is wrong.
