[gdal-dev] Problem converting .gml to shapefile

Adrian,
There is something wrong with the file you gave. So the problem seems
with ogr2ogr (at least with yours).
Please try a clean start without using the -append option and try
again. Let me know as many details as you can, even if you get a
correct result.
