[gdal-dev] Python (2.6.5) GDAL module will not install with easy_install

yes, it's a bit annoying that way.

I"d do without easy-install instead.

Download the source yourself, and try to run that setup.py -- See Ari's 
not for a hint or two that might help.

If that doesn't work, post again here.
