[gdal-dev] gdalwarper --formats inconsistent with -of flag?

Yes, but not creating a PNG !
Formats that allow creation are marked with a '+' sign after the 'w'.
Examples :
BMP (rw+v): MS Windows Device Independent Bitmap
JP2ECW (rw+): ERMapper JPEG2000
