Hi,

Why do you talk about million pixels?

I'm trying now with this command:
gdal_retile -of ECW -ps 1000 1000 -targetDir C:\GDAL\ECW Image.ecw
It's not finished yet, but there's so many tiles!!

I thought maybe using gdalbuildvrt, it could be a possibility.
