Livneh,

I'm afraid that gdal2tiles.py is not supported as part of FWTools.  It
uses the "new" python api while FWTools ships with the "old" python api.

Try OSGeo4W - you might need a newer package than the default GDAL from
OSGeo4W. Try "gdal17" through the advanced install.
