[gdal-dev] Coulour balancing and feathering, in a VRT

Hi,
I've been googling around a bit, but no luck yet.

Now that I have my fancy vrt with a 170 orthos in it, is there a 
(opensource) product I can colour balance and feather with, before I cut 
out the required orthophoto regions?
