[gdal-dev] Adding a subdataset to a NITF

Hello list,

I have been reading through the documentation to see if it is possible to add a subdataset to a format that supports it (NITF).
It seems like based on the data model it is possible to read those by extracting the name and then reading it as normal as if that was the file name. Is there any ability to write a subdataset into a file?
