Yes, gdal trunk generally tracks libgeotiff trunk and so GDAL 1.9 was
released with *essentially* the same as libgeotiff 1.4.0.  It is the fact
that GDAL tracks trunk for libgeotiff and libtiff that undermines my
resolve to actually push out releases for libtiff and libgeotiff.  :-)
