Ari No, all branches, tags and trunks share the same counter for revision number. Unless you actively push a fix in a branch, it won't go there automagically (luckily !) ;-) Actually, there have been no changes in 1.9 branch since its branching from trunk : http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/log/branches/1.9/gdal/swig/include/perl/ogr_perl.i
