Hi Jukka,

this enhancement was done in trunk (GDAL 2.0), and not in the 1.10 branch that 
will be the starting point for 1.10.X. Looking at the size of the changeset, 
I'm a bit concerned about backporting it into the 1.10 branch as well.

Pending GDAL 2.0 release (don't ask me when ;-)),  binary builds tagged "-
development" at http://www.gisinternals.com/sdk/ can already be used to 
convert MTKGML to other formats.
