You don't give enough details so that we can understand what "does not work".

example how to do a good report.

In theory, specifying big values of -wm can :
- fail if the process cannot allocate the memory
- or increase speed
- or decrease speed
- or have no impact

It shouldn't alter the result, ideally. But there are complex situations where 
bigger chunks cause coordinate transformations to be more problematic for the 
warper, as the bug I mentionned in my previous message.
