[gdal-dev] gdal installation, geopdf not recognized

I tried gdalinfo --debug on but that did not provide additional information.

gdalinfo --version  reports GDAL 1.11.0, released 2014/04/16

Before I try updating OSGeo4W and seeing if anything changes, is there
anything else to try to find the source of the error?  My install is
the result of an advanced install about three months ago and probably
updated about a month or two ago.
